Wuthering Waves: Resonators, Echoes & Rotations

Wuthering Waves is Kuro Games' action gacha — precise combat, a movement system that never gets in your way, and an Echo system that turns every enemy into a build piece. Version 3.5 "Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns" runs from July 10 to August 19, 2026, with the Land of Xuanfang region opened, Yangyang: Xuanling as the new Resonator, and Sonata Effects layered on top of the existing Echo pool.

The two-page skill this game asks you to learn early is intro/outro rotation. Every Resonator has an outro that fires when they leave the field and an intro that fires when they enter — chain them and the numbers explode. Every meta team comp is a plan for how those chains loop.

On the equipment side, Echoes carry the build. Each Echo brings a stat main line, a set effect, and a summoned action. Our coverage explains which Echoes to farm, which Sonata Effect to target for each Resonator, and when to stop tuning and move on.
