Umamusume: Pretty Derby is Cygames' horse-girl training sim — five stat aptitudes, a support-card deck-building layer, and a career that gets denser the more you master it. The global version's 1.5th Anniversary Celebration lands across July 2026, and Version updates have added new scenarios (Trackblazer, Grand Concert), new dirt races, and a first-anniversary SSR selector.

Two systems decide how fast you improve. The first is support-card deck-building: six slots, each contributing training bonuses, event storylines, and a specific stat bias. The second is skill picking — the tail end of every career hides a shopping list of skills, and the right list wins races the raw stats couldn't.
