Neverness to Everness Esper Tier List (Version 1.2)

◷ 6 min read ◆ Published

Neverness to Everness (NTE) is on Version 1.2, which shipped Shinku, updated Iroi's design, and added the 999 Nights tabletop game mode. The meta this patch rewards Anomaly-stagger DPS: build a party that opens stagger windows fast, then burst.

✦ Scout's short answer

Pull Shinku if you're building a stagger-first team. She opens the widest anomaly windows in the game and pairs cleanly with Elyms for follow-up damage. Skip Iroi's rerun unless you're already invested in her team frame.

How the tiers work

Every Esper has an attribute and a role. Score axes: role fit, anomaly window generation, cartridge synergy, investment tax.

Iroi (updated)Support / healA

S-tier

Shinku is the new Anomaly DPS. Fastest stagger uptime in the game.

Elyms stays the best amp — she extends anomaly windows past their natural duration, letting your carry get one extra rotation in every burst.

Chaos is the strongest main DPS from a previous patch; if you own her, don't reroll off.

A-tier

Iroi's design update tightens her healing kit, but she's still a support and the meta rewards damage-generating supports over pure healers. Pull if you don't have a sustain unit.

Team frames

  • Anomaly burst — Shinku + Elyms + Iroi.
  • Damage crit — Chaos + Elyms + Iroi.
  • F2P frame — starter Espers + any support.

Cartridges and modules

Cartridges are your equipment system — each Esper takes a cartridge that shapes their kit. Priority: match your carry's Attribute with a matching cartridge set, then fill remaining slots with modules that boost the anomaly window.
