Neverness to Everness (NTE) is a supernatural urban open-world RPG — real-time 3D combat, a living city that fills in side quests as you play, and Anomaly Zones that hide the harder fights. Version 1.2 added Shinku, the 999 Nights tabletop mode, and the Blushing Mirage limited arc.
Reroll for Shinku or Chaos. Learn the city loop (side quests unlock combat content) before you dive into Anomaly Zones. Save your first cartridge pulls for a matching set.
The city loop
NTE's core loop isn't combat — it's the city. Every side quest you finish unlocks either currency, cartridge material, or an Anomaly Zone entry. Skipping the city loop starves you of combat unlocks.
Reroll priority
- Shinku (1.2 banner) — best Anomaly DPS.
- Chaos (rerun) — main DPS.
- Elyms (rerun) — universal amp support.
Anomaly Zones
Anomaly Zones are NTE's dungeon system — timed combat encounters with elite enemies. Each Zone opens on specific side-quest triggers. Bring an Anomaly Esper (Shinku is ideal) plus one amp (Elyms) and one sustain (Iroi).
999 Nights
Version 1.2's 999 Nights is a tabletop game mode — you build a deck of cards representing Espers, then play matches against AI or other players. Rewards flow back into your main account. It's an optional side mode; skip on your first playthrough.
Hethereau Hobbies
Hethereau Hobbies are the city's minigame system — fishing, driving Drone, arcade shooters. They pay out cheap currency and story context. Do them, but don't grind them.
The gacha system
NTE uses a 90-pull hard pity with a 50/50 rule on limited Espers. Cartridges have their own banner with a 75/25 rule.
