Pick Gran or Djeeta as your captain — the choice is cosmetic. Play Performance mode for smoother combat. Focus on levelling one character to 100 before you branch out; don't spread investment across the roster.
Gran vs. Djeeta
Cosmetic choice. Both have identical kits and both are exceptional first mains — a durable melee kit with a signature Ougi ultimate. Pick the one that appeals to you.

Progression roadmap
- Complete the main story (roughly 20 hours).

Weapon Transcendence
Weapon Transcendence is your endgame ceiling. Every character has a signature Terminus weapon that unlocks Transcendence at level 100. Cost: farm 5000+ Sunlight Stones. Don't spread across multiple characters — pick one and finish.
AI party setup
You can play solo with three AI teammates. Optimal AI party: pick two DPS + one Support. Rosetta as the support choice — her Wall of Thorns provides sustain the AI actually uses.
Endless Ragnarok — the real endgame
The Endless Ragnarok expansion added Master Trait (level-past-100 progression), Conflux (endgame Sigil optimization), and Defy Infinity (the hardest fight in the game). If you enjoy Relink, the expansion is the endgame you want.
