Digimon Story: Time Stranger has a huge roster and eight digivolution generations (In-Training I → In-Training II → Rookie → Champion → Ultimate → Mega → Mega+ → Armor / Hybrid). Endgame team-building rewards planning your digivolutions, not just catching the highest-tier species.
The strongest endgame carries are Mega+ Digimon with unique Cross Arts. Aim for at least one high-attack Vaccine, one Data-type disruptor, and one Free-type flex. DNA digivolutions are worth the extra grind.

S-tier — endgame anchors
Omnimon is the classic DNA Mega+ (WarGreymon + MetalGarurumon). Highest attack stat pool available with a Vaccine attribute that clears the strongest Virus superbosses.
Diaboromon and Beelzemon anchor Virus teams. Beelzemon's Cross Art combos out-DPS most Megas over long fights.
Imperialdramon Fighter Mode is the flexibility pick — Free attribute means no elemental weakness matters, and his Positron Laser hits every enemy.
A-tier — build variants
MetalGarurumon, WarGreymon — precursors to Omnimon, both S-tier if you're not going for the DNA route.
