Black Flag Resynced is the 2026 remake of the 2013 original — Edward Kenway, the Jackdaw, and every sea shanty rebuilt on modern lighting. Same 43 main missions, same four Caribbean regions (Havana, Nassau, Great Inagua, Kingston), same collectible pool. If you're coming back after a decade, the shape is familiar; if this is your first Black Flag, this guide gets you started.
Play on Standard difficulty for the first playthrough. Focus main missions to unlock all four regions before you tackle collectibles. Save Legendary ship battles for after level 30 — they crush earlier attempts.
